⁵⁴ so that you [Judah] will bear your humiliation and disgrace, and be [thoroughly] ashamed for all [the wickedness] that you have done to console and comfort them. ⁵⁵ Your sisters, Sodom and her daughters and Samaria and her daughters will return to their former state; and you and your daughters will return to your former state. ⁵⁶ For [the name of] your sister Sodom was not mentioned by you [except as a byword] in the day of your pride [when David ruled],
